Interests: Right now I"m mostly focused on my school, but I miss my 3 dogs, 7 horses, 2 cats, and 1 fish. I think i'm having withdrawls from my animals if that is possible... I love to sing (obviously!), i love to sit in the tall grass with my dogs while i read a good book, i love sleeping, i love hanging out with friends, playing guitar, reading a good book, watching movies with my family, playing stupid games, riding my horses, just sitting in the musicroom at home and singing and playing instruments with my family, listening to music, going to concerts (i've been to Kelli Clarkson, Rascal Flatts, Hanson, Ingram Hill, 4Him, Point of Grace, Clay Cross, Jaci Valasquez, MercyMe, and many more oh yeah Dennis Jernigan lol)
I am currently looking into ropes courses and learning how to teach them...I also give horseback riding lessons if anyone wants to learn...
Expertise: I am not really an expert at anything but i'm pretty good at singing...
I am currently a Ropes Course Tech at New Life Ranch and on the Alpine Tower in Siloam Springs Ar.
I can get my way through most computer problems (if I can't i know who to call!) i know a lot about horses and i give riding lessons in the summer (not free, sorry ;) playing guitar although I"m not quite an expert, waitressing, ropescourse instructor, making guitarpick jewelry ( I have earings and necklaces!)

| It was snowing really bad while I was driving through Wagoner, Oklahoma last night. It is Easter weekend and it FREAKING SNOWED! It was ridiculous...
I got to stay in the office with Leticia and it was really cold because the pilot light in the heater thing was out. We used like 5 big blankets. Now I'm going to procrastinate the writing of a paper that is due Monday. YAY!

This is an email my dad sent me...
We
are in our 5th day without power and the temperature has hovered from
about 15 to 25 degrees. Today it is finally up to 32! Looking out our
windows it looks as if a bomb has gone off as a tornado came through.
Most trees have lost the top 10 feet or so due to the weight of nearly
2 inches of ice coating the branches. For the first three days we
thought we kept hearing gunshots in the woods behind us…but realized
it was trees shattering from the weight and from the cold. Many
literally look as if they have exploded. All of the huge trees in our
yard have been severely damaged. Our drive was blocked by a fallen tree
as was our main road. I have been using my chainsaw a lot. We finally
sent the children to my folks to keep them warm. Melinda and I are
staying to try and keep the pipes from freezing. Finally found a
generator in Tulsa
so was able to get some work done in the studio. Fell and bruised my
hip and possibly broke something in my right hand. Ran out of what is
normally a year's supply of wood for the fireplace in 4 days. Jonathan
Firey and Louis Drapp brought me a load of wood from Sand Springs last
night. We are keeping the faucets running to keep them from
freezing…and the basement bathroom sink clogged and flooded the
basement this morning ruining all things electronic. Cannot open the
office because of lack of power so we are not making any money
whatsoever. We are worn out and dirty and feeling as if we have been
forced back into frontier conditions (and very grateful we were not
born in that era!). Basically we are miserable and finding out if God's
grace really is sufficient! And so far, it is! Please pray. I feel so
guilty about leaving my family in these conditions to travel for
ministry this week and next…but we starve if I don't. I know my folks
are here and are glad to help. Just feeling badly that I have to go. I
leave Saturday for NC and don't know for sure when I come back. I'm supposed to be in Nashville to mix and to have a photo shoot next week. May skip the mix and fly back for the shoot. Just need wisdom. Enough for now.

soooo...As most of you know Muskogee, OK (my hometown) was recently devastated
by the ice storms that hit. I am getting a crew together to go to my
house next weekend (the 27th) and help my parents clean up the mess. My
family has been without electricity for almost a week now, they have
gone through a normal years supply of firewood, the basement flooded,
my dad possibly broke his hand, and there is another storm coming this
weekend. I am asking for any one who would be willing to sacrifice a
weekend to help me clean up and chop firewood.
We need firewood desperately!
also if you know anyone who would be willing to donate the use of a
couple chainsaws, a wood splitter, hard labor, or just their time

| I'm back at JBU. Here is what I found when I got back... - a refrigerator with mold...I had cleaned it out and left it open but when the guys changed my air filter in the heating unit they must have shut it because now it stinks and I can't get rid of the smell - lots of mail! Yay for packages and letters and money in the mail - new classes that won't be as bad as I thought - my own bedroom - my bed! I missed this the most I think - my friends! I missed them the most too - late Christmas presents! Better late than never! - school gives me a headache on the first day back - people lent me books so that I don't have to buy so many! - The Ropes Course need me and I want to climb again so bad! - I'm setting a resolution for myself: drink less pop and more water, eating healthier, and exercising... | | |
